HMS Beckett

Chris Beckett (HMS Beckett) is a British multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter, also known as the co-founder of the indie-folk duo Red Trees, formed in 2006 alongside Lou Richards to explore human vulnerability and its connection to the natural world. Alongside his work with Red Trees—which includes acclaimed releases such as the Seasons Series and the album Give Love—he pursues his solo path under the moniker HMS Beckett. His music is characterized by an intimate, visceral, and intuitive approach, deeply centered on environmental themes, personal reflection, and a profound bond with nature.
